Common Mistakes to Avoid

Are you peeling your nails off too quickly instead of soaking them properly?

Peeling your nails off too quickly can damage your natural nails. If you used glue, wait at least a week before attempting removal. Soak your nails in warm, soapy water with coconut oil, and gently lift the edges to remove them safely.

Are you soaking your press on nails in acetone?

Soaking your press on nails in acetone will damage the nails and make them non-reusable. Acetone is also harsh on the skin. We recommend using hot, soapy water with coconut oil for a gentler removal that keeps your press ons reusable.

Did you give your nails some TLC after taking off your press ons?

After removing your press ons, it’s important to clean your natural nails thoroughly and trim them if needed. Be sure to use cuticle oil and hand moisturizer to keep your nails and hands healthy and strong.

Pro Tips for Proper Removal

Use warm water to help loosen the nails!

Using warm water helps soften the glue and the press on nails, making them easier to remove without causing damage. Cold water won’t loosen the adhesive as effectively, which can lead to peeling or breaking your natural nails.

Remove nails carefully to avoid damage!

It’s important to be patient and remove the press on nails carefully because pulling or rushing can cause your natural nails to peel, split, or become weak. Gently lifting the edges allows the nails to come off safely without causing damage.
