Troubleshooting
Why aren’t my nails lasting long?
If your nails aren’t lasting long, the prep process is key! Make sure your nail beds are completely clean and free of oils — use the alcohol wipe included in your prep kit. Buff the surface lightly to remove any shine before applying your nails.
Use a good amount of glue so the natural nails are fully covered, but avoid overflowing onto the cuticles. Proper prep and glue application make all the difference for long-lasting, flawless nails!
Why won’t my nails come off when I soak them?
If your nails won’t come off when you soak them, it may be because the glue is still very strong. If you try to remove them too soon, soaking in soapy water will be difficult. Wait at least 1–2 weeks before attempting removal. Soak your nails in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes. If some nails still won’t come off, soak for an additional 5 minutes and gently try to loosen them again. Patience is key to keeping your natural nails safe!
How do I store nails between uses?
To store your nails between uses, first clean them of any dust or oils using an alcohol wipe. Then, keep them in the original packaging you received them in to protect their shape and design until your next use.
How can I prevent air bubbles from forming under my nails?
To prevent air bubbles under your nails, apply a good amount of glue on the nail bed — make sure it doesn’t overflow onto the cuticle. Press the artificial nail down at the cuticle area first, then lay down the rest of the nail. Hold firmly for 20 seconds to ensure a smooth, bubble-free finish.
How can I keep my nails flawless while on the go?
To keep your nails flawless while on the go, carry your PollyTips nail glue in your purse. That way, if a nail loosens or a little accident happens, you can quickly fix it and stay flawless wherever you are!
